He continued his training at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK), in the class of Professor Michael Wolf, where he completed both his Artistic Diploma and Master\u2019s Degree in Double Bass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of his career, he has received international recognition on several occasions, including at the International Society of Bassists Competition in Houston (USA), and was awarded 1st Prize at the J\u00falio Cardona International Competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has performed with some of the most prestigious international orchestras, such as the NDR Symphony Orchestra Hamburg, NDR Philharmonic Orchestra Hannover, Galician Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, working under the baton of esteemed conductors including Claudio Abbado, Christoph von Dohn\u00e1nyi, Kent Nagano, and Christoph Eschenbach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the field of chamber music, he is a member of the DSCH \u2013 Shostakovich Ensemble, and performs regularly in Portugal and across Europe with internationally acclaimed musicians such as Mihaela Martin, Frans Helmerson, G\u00e9rard Causs\u00e9, Pascal Moragu\u00e8s, Adrian Brendel, Marcelo Nisinman, Jack Liebeck, Kyril Zlotnikov, Corey Cerovsek, Benjamin Schmid, Jos\u00e9 van Dam, Silvia Careddu, Carolin Widmann, Christian Polt\u00e9ra, and his brother, Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2003, Tiago Pinto-Ribeiro has been a double bassist with the Porto Casa da M\u00fasica Symphony Orchestra, and he is also Professor of Double Bass and Chamber Music at the University of Aveiro.<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":18576,"template":"","categories":[10,49],"ano":[57,7],"com-pagina":[],"class_list":["post-17588","artista","type-artista","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-ano-em-curso","category-pagina_artistas","ano-57","ano-corrente","entry","has-media"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/classicfest.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/artista\/17588","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/classicfest.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/artista"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/classicfest.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/artista"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/classicfest.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/18576"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/classicfest.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=17588"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/classicfest.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=17588"},{"taxonomy":"ano","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/classicfest.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ano?post=17588"},{"taxonomy":"com-pagina","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/classicfest.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/com-pagina?post=17588"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
